To commemorate the birth of our nation, there will be a Mass at St. Catherine Church at 9:00am on July 4th.

On July 4th America will celebrate its 248th
birthday. With the reading of the Declaration
of Independence on July 4, 1776, from the
balcony of Independence Hall in Philadelphia,
Pa., Thomas Jefferson declared to the
world our independence from the English
Crown and King George III. The one room in
Independence Hall where the Constitution of
the United States was drawn up and debated
some years later (1787), is the actual “womb”
of our great country.
