T.V. Star Frank Runyeon will present three evening performances
April 9th Session Runyeon performs the famous parables in Luke’s travel narrative. To hear in a new way as stories address to us personally…about our lives here including Frank shares his own insightful personal reflections.
April 10th Session Frank discusses, the very different beatitudes the media are teaching us, and the struggles and choices we face daily as Americans and as people of faith. He speaks a language that captures the attention of youth and adults, sheds new light and ignites laughter.
April 11th Session Frank will tell the stories from the Gospel of John in the present tense, in everyday language – and by making the audience member part of the action. From the wedding at Cana to the raising of Lazarus…Signs of astonishing power…And a call to deeper faith.
Frank Runyeon has won national acclaim for his work as a translator and performer of Biblical tests. He is regularly reviewed as “the best speaker we have ever heard” by students, faculty and parishioners across the nation. He is perhaps still best known, however, for his many roles on television. He starred for seven years as Steve Andropoulos as As the World Turns opposite Meg Ryan; Simon Romero on General Hospital and 4 years as Father Michael Donnelly on Santa Barbara and many guest-starred roles in both day and prime time T.V.
